Vintage Polish European Black Velvet Beaded Sequins Folk Vest

Maybe you're just like me and you just like pretty things.  They don't have to make sense or be wearable or be utilitarian in any way--they're just pretty things and it makes you happy to have them.  This is one of those things for me.  I can't wear this but I can admire it! I'm pretty sure this is Polish and was likely used for either costume or dance.  It's really well made. My mannequin is a size small and you can see how tightly this fits.    The 15  inch underarm to underarm measurement is going to mean a 30 inch bust. Does not have a size tag but this seems like an xx small to me. Or possibly a teenage girl size.  So measure another vest or jacket from underarm to underarm and see if this will work.   The length from shoulder to longest part of hem is 16 inches. Done in black velvet on the front and lined with plain cotton inside. Heavily beaded and sequined on front and back.  Has a red ribbon tie on the front that fastens through loops and ties. This is in very good condition. With all the sequins and beadwork there is likely a few loose stitches but nothing major.
