SHARPAL strop is a premium vegetable tanned hide with abrasive green compound that will put the sharpest edge possible on knives. It should be used as the final step in sharpening. The tool works by realigning the very fine edge of the blade and polishing the blades surface. After using or sharpening, the blade will have a slight burr. This burr is what catches when you attempt to cut. By stropping the knife, the very fine edge of the blade will begin align while the compound polishing the edge.

How to use it

Step 1.

Apply the polishing wax evenly on the cowhide leather until it covers the entire surface.

Step 2.

As shown in the picture, it should be drawn upward against the direction of the blade until you get an extremely sharp edge.

Step 3.

Turn the blade over and do the same on the other side like step 2.

Note: The blade should be against the direction of the moving to avoid cutting the strop.

Finished

You will get an extremely sharp knife or tool like new.

Note: Strop is recommended to use before you think the edge is dull. It's the key to keep a razor sharp edge by using it consistently.
