Lapping Paste Compound Syringes Glass Metal Grinding Polishing Abrasives
If you want to get a mirror finish or remove scratches and marks on glass, stone, or other hard materials - then diamond polishing compound is a must.
We use these in our optics lab for polish and re-polish of astronautical laser parts and surfaces. (Waaaaay above our paygrade.)
Here’s a complete polishing solution.
Kit contains fine (W0.25) to coarse (W50) grades.

This diamond grinding compound is mixed with a water-soluble oil and comes in an easy to apply 5g syringe.

- The pressure used during polishing should be adjusted to the strength of the grit being applied.

During processing, the environment and tools MUST be clean. Dedicated tools for each particle size should be employed and must not be mixed.
Carefully clean the workpiece before changing to different grit abrasive compounds.
This ensures that coarse particles from the previous process are not being mixed into the finer grit pastes ultimately scratching the workpiece.
When polishing, squeeze a small amount of grinding paste into the polishing tool (if using a mechanical tool)
or directly squeeze it on the surface to be polished (NOTE: you can dilute the compound with a mixture of glycerin and distilled water at a ratio of 1:1 if you want a thinner slurry). After polishing, the workpiece should be thoroughly cleaned with soap & water or solvent. Storage of Diamond Paste
