The pattern on this cat figurine almost seems to take you on a walk through the haunted woods! In the Polish village of Boleslawiec, Weronika, along with her husband Jacek and their team, form each collectible stoneware cat from local clay, and meticulously adorn it using traditional folk art methods. Delightful motifs are stamped on one at a time with carved sponges, and details are added with fine brushwork. To preserve these detailed images, artisans glaze each piece and fire it at high temperatures to bring everlasting beauty.
