The dial of this unique timepiece is a Real USA minted coin and has a silver content that is 90% of 0.900 fineness. U.S. Morgan silver dollar showing Lady Liberty face. The Morgan was designed by the English engraver, George T. Morgan. The coin was minted from 1878-1904 and again briefly in 1921. It features the goddess Liberty, modeled by Philadelphia school teacher Anna Willis Wilkins, whose profile Morgan described as “The most perfect I have seen in England or America”. Lady Liberty
is surrounded by 13 stars representing the original 13 colonies and the motto “E Pluribus Unum”, with the designer’s initial “M” at the base of her hair and the year at the bottom of the coin. Each watch is unique due to variations in each coin’s wear, year, and mint marks
. Each coin has a silver content that is 90% of 0.900 fineness and is cut cross-sectionally. The coin is surrounded and protected by a water-resistant stainless steel watch case. A Japan quartz movement with three hands provides reliable timekeeping. The Genuine black leather strap fits wrists up to 8 1/2" in circumference.
