Older (Much older) Handmade Wool Rug - 24" x 47", Red, Black, Etc, Polish

Yes "fringe" on both ends, not just corner knots. How old are you?  This rug is older. I have a large collection of Navajo rugs, Mexican rugs, Polish Kilim rugs, etc.  Maybe another 50 around this place (maybe more) - and that's after the 50 or more I've sold on ebay over the years as i cut back on my collection. An expert took the time to consider this rug and her best conclusion was that this might be a Polish Kilim rug - insisting that this is not a rare Navajo rug with fringe . . . I have to admit, I had my hopes up that she was wrong, but looking at it again and again, i came up with nothing to dispute her . . . !! Back to my rug.  She's an oldie and a goodie. And a Beauty! Not much else to say. Always turn your rugs and vacuum both side regularly. Do NOT "snap" wool rugs as you shake them out as it weakens the weaving. Enjoy your rugs - don't tuck them away out of site.
