TODAY FOR AUCTION Nicky Butler Handmade 925 Sterling Silver 11.70ct Lapis Lazuli Multi-Gemstone size: 6 Ring, 10.7 grams This amazing, lapis lazuli multi gemstone ring was handmade by designer Nicky Butler. A jewelry designer that has been in the business since the 1960's and is known for his colorful, very creative designs. This magnificent ring has a very powerful appearance, it measures 1.25" long and 1.0" wide, so it will definitely make a statement when worn. There is a large 9.00ct cabochon cut deep blue lapis lazuli gemstone, bezel set in a solid, strong, very thick, 925 sterling silver handmade ring mounting. This deep blue gem is surrounded by is 4 shiny white moonstones, 2 vibrant blue, Blue Topaz gems, 2-deep purple Amethysts, 4 saturated pink, pink topaz gems and 4- translucent green Peridot gems. The contrast of colors is absolutely beautiful. The band was handmade and then hand soldered to a thick marquise shaped plate. Several thick, strong heads were separately handmade and then skillfully hand soldered to the plate, along with a thick wide head for the center stone. Each gem was set, by hand and the entire ring was hand polished to a bright, very smooth finish. This charming, very whimsical ring will be the topic of conversation for years to come.
