The Makita 7-Inch Polisher features a powerful 10-Amp motor capable of producing up to 3,200 no-load rpm. A variable speed dial lets you select the most effective speed for your work. Constant speed control ensures the polisher produces a steady output, even under a heavy load, and a lock-on button simplifies continuous use. The Makita polisher's smooth start design minimizes swirl marks and spatter. Maintenance is simple with the Makita variable speed polisher's accessible brushes. A wire mesh cover protects the intake valve from damage, and a 3-prong plug reduces the creation of static electricity. The cord guard offers extended product longevity and increased ease of movement. A built-in rest for use with the side handle facilitates upside down polishing. For ease of handling, the gear housing and loop handle are made of a comfortable rubberized material.
