Product description The American-made Hi-Tech Diamond 8" Slant Cabber is a uniquely-angled flat lap machine that allows you to sit while you work. Easily grind, shape and polish rocks to make cabochons for necklaces, earrings, rings and other jewelry pieces, or polish synthetic material and metals on the Slant Cabber. Whether you’re a beginner, lapidary hobbyist or jewelry making pro, this machine is easy to use at any skill level. The 8" Slant Cabber is lightweight, rustproof and impact resistant, making it easy to travel with and very portable. Its 1/4 hp, heavy-duty 115V, ball bearing motor is variable speed, delivering speeds from 800 rpm to 3,400 rpm so you can work at any speed you desire. The clean water system is easy to use, simply fill the top water reservoir with one quart of clean water and control your water flow from a drip to a stream using the on/off valve installed on the durable water tube. Its simplified drain system allows the dirty, used water to drain out of a drain tube so you never have to use contaminated water. The Slant Cabber comes with an accessory kit that allows you to work right out of the box. This kit works especially well for polishing quartz, agate, jasper, tourmaline, corundum, opal and a large variety of natural gem material.
