Product description The American-made Hi-Tech Diamond 8" Slant Cabber is an uniquely-angled flat lap machine that allows you to sit while you work and makes an excellent tool for cold working art glass. Grind, shape and polish glass and crystals to make free-form shapes and cabochons for necklaces, earrings, rings and other jewelry pieces. Create polished windows in glass marbles or beads. The Slant Cabber also makes the perfect workbench tool for cold glass workers and glass fusers, as it gives your glass projects smooth edges with a professional, finished look. The 8" Slant Cabber is lightweight, rustproof and impact resistant, making it easy to travel with and very portable. Its 1/4hp, heavy-duty 115V, ball bearing motor is variable speed, delivering speeds from 800rpm to 3,400rpm so you can work at any speed you desire. The clean water system is easy to use, simply fill the top water reservoir with one quart of clean water and control your water flow from a drip to a stream using the on/off valve installed on the durable water tube. Its simplified drain system allows the dirty, used water to drain out of a drain tube so you never have to use contaminated water. The Slant Cabber comes with an accessory kit that allows you to work right out of the box. This kit is designed to make easy work of grinding, shaping and polishing glass and crystal.
