Technology is far advanced, and in many cases, unrecognisable, which has led to the development of fantastic naval vessels, hulking land ships and terror from the skies in the form of airships and war balloons. The Dystopian Wars game is set in a Victorian Steampunk world and you command one of the great imperial powers of Dystopian Wars, you can choose to defend your territories from foreign incursion, or you can conquer the world. Sandwiched between the Prussian Empire and the Russian Coalition, the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth has always stood in a precarious position in the volatile political intrigues and territorial disputes of central and Eastern Europe. Though the Russian Coalition is currently an ally of the Commonwealth against the Prussians once more, in truth this small nation would much prefer that both powers leave it alone. With its strategic position, however, this seems most unlikely. The Commonwealth’s military forces are small but highly motivated and fairly well-equipped, having been resupplied by weaponry purchased from the Russians and, covertly, from the Britannians through trade links on the Black Sea. The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth is one of the great survivors of the world's nations. Whilst they lack the resources to build Land Ships of their own, they make up for this with a strong force of fast and furious WZ6 Szpada Class Medium Tanks. They are devastating machines of war built to impress, and have proved an invaluable addition to the Tsar's war effort. Steampunk tanks. One piece resin miniatures.
