Our 4 Inch Diamond wet dry Polishing pad can be wet or dry use (Dry use recommended) Ideal speed of grinder or polisher is between 2800 and 5000 RPM.   DO NOT use high speed grinder or polisher (6000 7500 11000 RPM grinder is NOT appropriate). There are many options: Very Flexible Backer Only. Aluminum Backer Only. 3 Step Set (step 1 to Step 3), 5 Step Set (step 1 to step 5), 7 Step Set (1 X Grit 50 to Grit 3000), 8 Step Set  (1 X Grit 50 to Buff), Or PLUS aluminum or flexible rubber backer.
