Kassoy Jewelers Rouge Polishing Cloth
Measures 10 X 10 inches
There are two cloths. One cloth is yellow, the other a dark red. They are sewn together at one end, the other edges are pinked. Pinked edges are sawtooth cut instead of having straight cut edges. Cloth that are unfinished will fray, the weave becoming undone and the threads pulling out easily.
This cloth is for cleaning and polishing all metal. Heavily soiled metal can be pre-cleaned before using, making sure the item is dry before using the cloth. Begin by rubbing the metal surfaces on the red jewelers rouge embedded cloth. The rouge will penetrate the metal on any scratches and begin erasing the marks. Finish by rubbing your metal on the yellow cloth to buff and polish, smoothing, cleaning and shining your metals. Rub and polish until you are happy with the finish.
I have shown my jewelers rouge polishing cloth that I have been using for around two years. This is to show you how long a cloth can last. I finish all my handmade jewelry with this cloth after setting. I may possibly use it 5 times a day. I use it on all the settings and chains. After I sell my jewelry, I give the pieces another polish, giving the metal one final fine polish before shipping. You can see that I keep using it, it is barely frayed at all. I have always used the Kassoy Rouge Cloth to finish my fine jewelry.
