The Center Ring System
allows for quick and easy centering of pad to backing plate eliminating wobble, improving finish, with less fatigue. The 753RY Lt Cut / Polishing Wool Grip Center Ring Pad is made of a wool blend and 1.5" pile height, perfect for light to medium compounding and polishing applications
. For best results these pads should be used with Buff & Shine Backing Pads

for a perfect fit.  You can purchase these pads and backing plates from E-Zee Wax Products. A note about fluffing a wool pad: Wool pads are known to cake up but it’s an easy fix. With the polisher turned off, lay it down on the ground with the pad facing up. Set the speed to the lowest setting and turn it on. Hold a pad spur #1600 against the pad as it turns. The pile will fluff up in just a few seconds. Your other option is to have 3 or 4 wool pads on hand so you can simply switch pads when one becomes caked.
