Most of the volumes also include patterns for recreating the costumes and information about the embroidery and decorations that would normally be found on each costume element. Details both the men's and women's costume, changes to the costumes over time, and influences of neighboring regions. The book is part of a large set published in Poland starting in 1949 and there have been 47 volumes published to date.
