WHITTEMORE'S 10 GILT EDGE SHOE POLISH BOTTLES IN BOXES EARLY 1900s NEW OLD STOCK. Here are 10 Whittemore's Gilt Edge shoe shine bottles from approx 1910 or so. The bottles and the boxes are near mint and unused. A few of the boxes have a little wear. One has a tear on top and taped small flap inside the box. The glass bottles are in great condition as well as the old labels. The boxes are nice and still have the paperwork inside each box. Some of the paperwork has some light staining on them. The bottles still have some liquid /solid inside and have a wood and cork stopper. Whittemore started in 1852, the paperwork says that they have has satisfied customers for over 50 years. Whittemore went out of business in the 1930's. The bottles are 6 inches tall and have never been opened. The boxes have light wear. Amazing how these have survived all these years.
