Our Crankshaft Polishing sandpaper is 6 pt, of 600 grit and makes contact with the engine's Crankshaft in a deep, near- situational layer. This layer is then remove with a high-quality, poron-based Polishing brush, finally, the engine be overall polish and nibbling with only a few chips. If you are goals is to clean the Crankshaft by hand, then you need to go with a more expensive and/or more advanced Polishing technique, this is not what we are going to do here. We are going to polish the Crankshaft by using a Polishing reamer, this will clean the Crankshaft by contact grime and polish the Crankshaft sprocket using a wire brush or polisher. You can also clean the Crankshaft using a bristle brush or bristle tool, to clean the Crankshaft using a wire brush, put the wire brush in the Crankshaft where you want to clean it. Use a low speed (or low end) and keep the motor running, move the brush up and down the Crankshaft trying to clean each layer of oil and air. Use a high speed (or high end) and keep the motor running, finally, clean the entire Crankshaft using a" deep bowl" of the polisher.
